Tour Like A Local

We had a great tour of Winter Park, learned many things about the town and its history. The eating venues that we visited on the tour were well prepared and greeted the group very friendly. Throughout the tour the group exercised social distancing and wore masked where needed. The professionalism of the tour guides was exemplary. Will definitely join other tours that are offered.

The tour company, including Sarah, who was our guide, went out of their way to schedule a time that worked for my wife and I. She was super knowledgeable and shared lots of interesting and funny stories about Mr. Rogers, his life and the time he and his wife spent at Rollins College and elsewhere. It was just the right amount of walking. I would definitely encourage anyone who thinks they might be interested to visit both Rollins College and Winter Park. Both are beautiful.

The Flavors of the Winter Park Foodie Tour was a good time. The starting location was easy to find and even had complimentary electric vehicle parking. We were originally skeptical about a food walk in the July Central Florida heat, but the guides were fantastic about finding shade when they stopped to give us some local history. We really enjoyed the history of the Winter Park peacocks and why the town is called “Winter Park”. We wanted more of this. We visited seven different locations and all the sweets, beverages, and samples were tasty and of high quality. The tasting room was the highlight of the tour because the staff member not only provided a history of his products, but he provided versatile ways of using them. We tasted a salad, chips and dip, and ice cream there. The other highlight was a restaurant that provided a special mimosa and salmon chip. We also visited the Winter Park food market and sampled a Jamaican chicken patty. Four of the visits offered sweets. While this was a great tour for adults, families, and kids, I wish there were more filling, food items and less sweets. Would I go back for one of their other tours like the Mister Rogers tour, absolutely!

I thoroughly enjoyed learning about Mister Rogers on the walking tour. I had no idea how connected he was to Winter Park!

The night-time boat tour with Orlando Tours was GREAT! It was so peaceful on the lakes at night and the Christmas music along with all the Christmas lights were perfect for the season. Great hot chocolate and such a friendly team. We loved it and are already planning to do it again next year! 2 thumbs up!

I took the Flavors of Icon Park tour. Our tour guide, Jordan was very knowledgeable and told us fun facts about each restaurant that we stopped at. The food and drinks were delicious and I loved that they all had scratch kitchens. Jordan was very friendly and made the tour interesting and fun. We got to ride the observation wheel at the end of the tour and had a great view of the city, and the parks in the distance.

I am a local who has lived in the Orlando area for more than 20 years. I've never been to some of these venues prior to the tour but they are hidden gems! Loved the tour guide, the info, and all the yummy food!! A+++++

Had a really enjoyable tour on Winter Park, the tour guides were very knowledgeable and the food stops were excellent.

Fantastic holiday lights tour!

This was so very worth it! Dani was our guide and she was with us the entire day, telling us all the back stories and letting us know the details of the rides when anyone was uncertain about riding . We did the Motorbike ride three times that day! We also walked backstage , met Spider-Man , and Dani walked us to the very front of the line anywhere we went . The experience includes a breakfast buffet and lunch buffet in a private air conditioned area and also dinner which you can take at your choice of several restaurant options at the park. The ease of the experience and amazing guide we were lucky to have , made it an unforgettable experience ! We will do it again for sure .

We have had the great opportunity to enjoy 2 of the food walking tours that Original Orlando Tours offers. We highly recommend the food tours! Great time both times and great food! We will be taking the ghost tour next.

We just went on the Flavors of Icon Park tour with our Fantastic tour guide, Jordan. We went to 4 different restaurants and Jordan gave us history and fun facts about each place. Each restaurant made everything from scratch and you could tell. Our last stop was a ride on the Icon Wheel!

We took the kids on the Winter Park Christmas boat tour tonight. It was so fun! For about 90 minutes we were on a boat throughout the various lakes in Winter Park looking at Christmas lights. They had trivia, Christmas music, and treats. We look forward to going again next year.

Enjoyed the walking foodie tour. Great mix of different types of foods on offer in Winter Park. Tour guides were very knowledgable giving a mix of knopwledge about the history of Winter Park and its origins, as well as the food and beverage proprietors. Would definitely recommend to those wanting to experience something different from the theme parks, etc.
