All aboard! Hop on a fleet of 1940’s vintage dining train cars as you leave the throngs of tourists visiting Walt Disney World, Sea World and Universal Studios in the Orlando tourist zone to travel on a fun train tour back to a simpler time in American life. You’ll feel like you’ve gone back in time as you chug along through Central Florida’s “Golden Triangle” cities of Eustis, Tavares and Mount Dora on the Royal Pizza Express, as you enjoy your choice of a personal cheese, pepperoni, veggie, or supreme pizza.
Gaze out and view beautiful lakefront scenery and majestic oak groves, as you relax in the fully climate-controlled dining cars of the Royal Pizza Express to beat the heat of summer, or warm up from the chill during winter months. Forget the Orlando tourist zone as you become immersed in the laid back comfort of the countryside, witnessing the appeal of local Florida views.
After your train tour experience on the Royal Pizza Express, your adventure continues with time to explore the historic downtown of Mount Dora. Known as a slice of “Old Florida,” this New England style village on the shores of Lake Dora boasts a myriad of boutiques, antique shops, local eats and scenic parks, contrasting the big city feel and crowds of the Orlando tourist zone.
With handpicked location suggestions from your tour guides, and much more to find, you will feel right at home in small town Florida. Enjoy a great day in the country with plenty to see and do for everyone in the family!

The 1981 film “Honky Tonk Freeway” was filmed in Mount Dora, and many Mount Dora buildings were temporarily painted pink for the film’s set. Mount Dora is famous locally for its antique shops and cafes.
